Returns / Refund Policy
This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which refunds are issued for products and services purchased on RailAssessments.com. By purchasing from RailAssessments.com, you agree to the terms outlined herein.
1. Refund Eligibility for Online Assessment Purchases
1.1 Refund requests for online assessments must be submitted within seven (7) days of the purchase date.
1.2 Refunds will only be issued if the purchased assessment has not been fully or partially attempted. If the assessment has been accessed in any way, a refund will not be granted.
2. Refund Eligibility for Custom Design Modules
2.1 Refund requests for custom-designed modules must be submitted within seven (7) days of the purchase date.
2.2 Refunds for custom design modules will exclude service costs, including but not limited to:
- Hosting fees
- Technology applied to the module
- Setup and design costs incurred by RailAssessments.com
2.3 For refund requests made after seven (7) days, any approved refund will be issued as a credit to the user’s account, minus applicable service costs, for future use on RailAssessments.com.
3. Withdrawal of User and Enrolment
3.1 Upon approval and issuance of a refund, any associated user account and/or enrolment related to the refunded assessment will be withdrawn and removed from Rail Assessments system.
3.2 This withdrawal applies only to the refunded assessment. If the user is enrolled in other assessments, their enrolment in those assessments will remain unaffected.
4. How to Request a Refund
4.1 Refund requests must be submitted in writing via our contact form or email. The following information must be provided:
- Order number
- Proof of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
4.2 RailAssessments.com will review refund requests and process approved refunds within five to seven (5–7) business days of receipt, subject to the conditions set forth in this Policy.
5. Exceptions to Refunds
5.1 Refunds will not be granted for assessments that have been partially or fully attempted.
5.2 Refunds for custom design modules will not cover any service costs incurred during the setup and design process.
6. Amendment or Waiver of Terms
6.1 RailAssessments.com reserves the right to amend, modify, or waive any term or condition of this Policy at its sole discretion.
6.2 Any such adjustment or waiver will be communicated in writing to the affected user(s).
6.3 Granting a waiver or adjustment in one instance shall not constitute a waiver of any term or condition for future purchases.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 RailAssessments.com shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from the withdrawal of access to refunded products or services.
